Hello Swanage!
We acquired our first branch in Swanage in 2019, which gave us invaluable insight into running a Post Office and retail business. Navigating the challenges of the pandemic while operating the branch strengthened our understanding of the industry and the resilience needed to adapt and thrive. The experience not only solidified our commitment to providing essential services to the community but also gave us a clear vision for the future. It was during this time that our ambition to expand grew, as we saw the potential to modernise and transform struggling branches into profitable, community-focused businesses.
2021
Hello Weymouth!
In 2021, we took on Weymouth Post Office, which at the time was an outdated, tired, and uninviting eight-position main branch with a long, narrow layout that was no longer fit for purpose. The space was inefficient, and the branch relied heavily on Post Office support to remain open. To modernise and future-proof the business, we relocated the Post Office counters to the rear, creating a more practical and streamlined service area. This allowed us to downsize to a more efficient four-position mains setup with a combination counter at the front, improving both workflow and customer experience.




We freed up valuable retail space, ensuring the branch could generate additional income beyond Post Office services. What was once a struggling branch is now a profitable and self-sustaining town centre Post Office, serving the community with a modern, welcoming, and efficient service.








2022
Hello Swanage?!? Again?
When our lease at Swanage Post Office was coming to an end, we knew that to secure a long-term, sustainable future for the branch, we needed to find a permanent home. As a sign of our commitment to the town, we purchased our first freehold property, ensuring stability for both the business and the community. The building required extensive work, but we persevered, determined to create a welcoming and modern Post Office while preserving the character of the space.




Today, Swanage Post Office stands as a beautiful, carefully restored branch, proudly showcasing its natural Purbeck stone wall and original archway. More than just a Post Office, the building also houses our corporate head office, making it a key part of our growing business and a lasting investment in the town’s future.
2023
Hello Winterborne Kingston, Corfe Mullen and Langton Matravers
In 2021, we took over three community outreach branches, providing essential mobile Post Office services to these villages. These mobile branches operate on a set schedule, trading for a few hours at designated locations, ensuring that residents continue to have access to vital postal and banking services. For many in these rural communities, the outreach service is a lifeline, offering convenience and connectivity without the need to travel long distances. We are proud to support and sustain these vital services, ensuring they remain at the heart of the communities they serve.

Hello Sherborne!
We took on Sherborne Post Office after a previous operator struggled to make it financially viable. Located in an area with high rental costs, we knew that maximising retail space would be essential to its success. To achieve this, we reconfigured the layout by moving walls back, expanding the retail area, and stocking it with our signature range of products.




Just a year after taking over, the branch is now serving twice as many customers as before, demonstrating the positive impact of our investment. With a full refurbishment, a modernised service area, and a thriving retail space, Sherborne Post Office has become a valuable resource for the local community, securing its future as a vital hub in the town.

Hello Dorchester
Just a few months after taking on Sherborne, the opportunity to acquire Dorchester Post Office arose. Taking on two branches in such a short space of time doubled the size of our operation, presenting both challenges and opportunities. This rapid expansion required us to strengthen our HR resources, develop comprehensive safety documentation, and establish a clear brand identity and operational style.




With a focus on efficiency and sustainability, we worked hard to implement our tried-and-tested approach to turning branches around—maximising retail space, optimising workflows, and enhancing customer experience. Investing in staff training, refining our processes, and modernising the branch ensured that Dorchester Post Office quickly became a thriving, profitable community hub. This period of rapid growth reinforced our commitment to sustainable expansion and laid the foundation for the success of our multi-branch network..
